BeckyBoo
Haven't seen that for AGES, might have to see if I can steal back the pinger from smallest boy, failing that I'll do the ironing to it in the kitchen! DD1 and I watched the 1948 Oliver Twist earlier, once I'd explained why it was in black and white (and that no, not everyone wore black or grey in the olden days) she really liked it! Cinnamon
Don't you just love it when old classics come onto the TV on a wet weekend afternoon. Tim, starring Mel Gibson is another one I love

Valkyrie
Michael is soo naughty, can't help liking him! But I love Breakfast at Tiffany's. I would have loved to be as elegant and beautiful as Audrey, but I love George more! Then I like the Die Hard movies, and the Mel Gibson/Danny Glover ones. At the moment OH is watching Harry Potter - not my cup of tea hence playing solitaire on here with a light interlude on the forum!
Faye&Ant
I watched Michael yesterday and thought it was a lovely film. Has anyone seen the notebook?
Seagazer
I love Michael and everytime it comes on I always watch it (should add it to my dvd collection). I love the Van Morrison song (I'm humming it but can't think of the title) at the end where he goes dancing off down the street After Strictly and X factor (we are very sad as YS was sleeping at friend's house last night and we didn't even go out!) we watched Love Actually - bliss! Although I do always swear at the lady who plays the secretary When I watched this the first time it made the back of my throat burn I was so choked up - poor Emma Thompson We have The Notebook, its lovely, so moving. I love a good saturday afternoon film.
