I have to dress up on Friday for Children in Need day at school.

We have to come as characters from books. I didn't fancy dressing up until I decided to go as a chicken. I have hired a costume but now I can't think of any chicken characters from books. It's a cockerel outfit so I can't go as the hen from Hen and the art of chicken maintenance or Little Red Hen. I thought of Buck Cluck, Chicken Little's Dad.

 

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

It would have to be Cocky Locky from the Chicken Licken book for me. Or maybe the rooster from Chicken Run. I'm sure it must be a book too. Haven't got a clue what he was called though
