AnnieP
I am no where near as imaginative or creative as many of you good folks on here, so I am hoping somebody can help me out! At work every year, we do a "Secret Santa" for colleagues. (Pull someone's name out of a hat and buy them an anonymous present). This year I have picked out a corker: A lovely lady, whom I do not know very well at all. All I really know about her is that she likes cats and gardening. Now I know that seems like a good starting point, but it is like saying "I like donkeys and cooking": 1: I loathe most donkey paraphanalia and 2, I have pretty much everything I need for cooking.... So, I know I can trust you lot to come up with tasteful, sensible ideas: Criteria? £5 limit, (give or take a bit I guess), and preferably, something I can get off T'Interweb, as I hate shopping.. There. That's the challenge for the afternoon.....
Egluntyne
Neither cat nor gardening related.....but how about a BHWT jute bag? At least you can get it of 'tinterweb! And the price is right.

Aunty e
I'm not a huge fan of cat gubbins either, but as the proud owner of six cats, I would say get her something smelly, like pot pourri or lavender sachets or scented candles. I spend a fortune on air fresheners My FIL thinks I like gardening. I'm now the proud owner of a mini greenhouse, a greenhouse thermometer and tons of bulbs. Which I've barely used. Cate in NZ
It's not a very original idea I'm afraid, but if she's a gardener how about some pretty little pots & seeds that she can plant in the new year...herbs or something like that maybe for her kitchen windowsill . Or even more boring, but what about a nice handcream, my hands are always revolting after I've been working in the garden and I end up slathering on heaps of the stuff. dancing cloud
Does she own a cat? If so, this is one of the best toys I've ever found - even Tubby Pud will play with one http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/UNIQUE-CAT-TOY-WIGGLY-WAGGLER-with-CATNIP-HANDMADE_W0QQitemZ220304259605QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item220304259605&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1301%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318 We put together a list of things we'd like from our secret santa (up to £10) and a couple of these were on my list
