Townie
I know you clever lot can help me.... I have seen a photo (on here somewhere ) of covered eglu runs with the covers being held on by bungee cords. My shower curtains are currently held on with cable ties but have been ripped a bit in the recent wind and had to be re-attached. If I used the straps instead I guess it would be easy to uncover the girls on dry days too which would be nice I have seen mixed packets etc... on the web but wondered if anyone had bought a specific packet the right length. I measured the 'door end' as approx 2m. Just thought I'd ask.... Thanks! Townie x
quickcluck
Hi Townie..... My shower curtains also fall apart at regular intervals so I've invested in this. http://www.tarpaflex.co.uk/acatalog/glass-clear-pvc-tarpaulins.html I got ball bungees from ebay, but can't get the link to work!!! hope that helps. Looney
Hi, I got mine from the local pound shop. Think there were 5 in a packet of varying lengths. I have linked the shorter ones together to make them reach

Plum
Ive fastened the shower curtain on with soft-tyes at the hanging end, then just put bricks on the other at ground level. Very windy last few days and it didnt move.

Redwing
B&Q do a tub of bungees (blue lid) for about the £6 mark. Two of the bungees are the right length to go over each end and one is a sort of six ended bungee, I use four ends of this in an X shape over the middle area of the run (the other two ends pull tight so aren't hanging loose) You end up with one bungee spare and one funny strange thing that I didnt know what to do with! Townie
Thanks for the tips. I bought a tub in Halfords and joined two to reach over the run. I'm sure I'll be back soon with another question! Townie x
