Plum
Found a great christmas present today. Its journals you give to your mother, son, sister or whoever to complete and give back to you when they have recorded various memories, thoughts, events etc., I am going to send one to my sister and brother. Unfortunately, I have already lost my mum and dad but they remember things about them that I have forgotten. They may tell me a few home truths as well. If you want to have a look put 'from me to you' in amazon it comes up.
Old Speckled Hen
Thanks for the tip, they're great. I've ordered one to fill in with my MIL to give to my DH for his birthday and one for my daughter to fill in with her Gran.

Chook n Boo Mum
What a lovely idea - much better than some of the tatt which is available & which I am avoiding this year... ! Have you received yours yet? Would it be easy enough to make up a similar item in a homemade memory book? I must admit that my imagination for questions is not as wide as I'm sure this book is....... By the way, if you log on to www.fromyoutome.com you can order personalised book covers, for Grandad who's called Grumpy etc. Books are much more expensive than through Amazon though with P&P. Sunshine
I got something similar for my grandma to fill in about herself from a local garden centre. I think they are a really good idea because then i will have all my grandma's information(where she went to school, when she got married etc) all together so if i have children it will be there to show them. Olly
I love the idea, but I can't imagine any of my siblings ever completing this ... they don't do 'feelings'!
Lesley
I sent the link to my daughter because I though Lauren and Jake (grandchildren) might be interested - she wrote back to ask "how many of these would you like? Grandma?, Mum?, Sister?...... "
