Angels4
Chicken coops will be made available on Tuesday, then we can sell our eggs. I wasn't quick enough to see the price of the coop, I got there at the very end of the preview. I'm sure it will cost waaaaaaaaaaaay more than an eglu or cube though. Cate in NZ
I've avoided it it so far. From what I gather there are some pretty nasty groups there. I don't think I could spare the time for another internet site. I know what you mean Egluntine...internet sites have a way of taking over your life . I simply hated the idea of Facebook for ages, but I have to say I love it now. I'm sure there probably are some nasty groups there...lets face it, there are nasty groups anywhere, but on FB you can hide your profile. Friends can search you by name, email address or by searching common interest groups ( I found Sheila there, lurking in with the Omleteers ), but they need to send a friend request...you can decline friendships....or be declined (as my darling daughter declined me ) at any time...there's no obligation to accept friendships or memberships to any groups. In fact I don't belong to many groups at all, can't be bothered with most of that. But I am friends with my son, both of my sisters and some pretty amazing friends, some Omlet, a lot not, through Facebook and for me personally it's a brilliant way of staying in touch with people. We can have "live" chats, send messages, share photos and I can generally keep up with what MY important people are doing, whether it be trivial, or the big stuff. I love it . And if I'm bored I can play daft games and prove to the world just how stupid I am at a variety of word games . In fact, to be honest it's slowly become more important to me than Omlet....now I'll go and wash my mouth out with soap.....but my sisters aren't on Omlet, and I'm sticking tight to that excuse. Love it. love it, love it........it crosses right to the other side of the world and back.......how cool is that Mark, I couldn't join the My Farm thing the other day, computer problems, but I'm hoping to sign up soon, even more now...I really want a virtual chicken coop after after a year without live chickens in my life . Thank SO much for the tip off.

Snowy
Right, I'm playing at farming as well. How on earth do you all get your money?? I've 'invested' all my money in planting crops, but should I be doing anything else??
Joojoo
That's fine for now As you harvest the crops, you can plant more and keep going until you've got enough to buy the wood shed which allows you to cut and sell your trees. I haven't got there yet, but the barn apparently allows you to sell the animals. I'll send you some more over tomorrow - I've run out of gifts to send for today
Angels4
Snowy it looks like your farm in relativly new "Owl Howells Farm" right?!? So, what you have to do is wait for your crops to grow if u click on a crop it will tell you how far along it is, when it says time to harvets go ver to the lower right, click on the harvester and then on the crop to be harvested and watch you bank account grow. When you are at the store look for items that give you the most for your money in the shortest amount of time. BTW everyone. What happened to that chicken coop we were promised?!?! quickcluck
At the risk of sounding a tad dim being new to this, how do you get more crop areas? Do you buy them? I haven't seen them.......
Angels4
How do I upgrade to a larger farm? Go to http://tinyurl.com/67fl57 and follow the instructions. But be very careful. When you upgrade your farm all of your crops will be rearranged.

Guest
OK so I have to BUY crops but I can GIVE gifts which cost nothing! Anyone know if there is a limit to gifts? BTW - I have a very lonely chicken at the moment if anyone is in a gift buying mood - you all know that chickens need company. Its bad enough that she's having to roost in the trees but she's so lonely she tried talking to the goat earlier and you know that goats will eat ANYTHING - she had to fluttur up a tree double quick. OK call them NOW to take me away...
