Janty
Just heard hubby on the phone to my Dad refering to our garden as Omlet village. Dad had obviously asked to speak to me and hubby replied that Iwas out in Omlet village locking the girls up. Cheek!

Redwing
How lovely to have an Omlet village - lucky you! I must admit to being a TINY bit disapointed to discover Lesley's Eglus were in a row attached to runs, I always imagined her to have a field that looks like an explosion in a Smarties factory
Plum
I think it must be a pretty good description looking at your signature. Mine is just a remote cottage.

moochoo
Omlet village sound like a lovely place to visit. Brightly coloured houses, fresh eggs every day, the sound of chattering chooks. How lovely? Wouldn't it be great if we all moved into a village with our chooks. No more complaints of noise or smells. Chicken sitters on mass. Happy, enlightened people as neighbours. Well I can dream can't I?

moochoo
I'm very lucky too. All my neighbours are fantastic about the chooks. There's even a little boy across the road who writes them letters and draws them pictures It would still be nice to have community that was like the forum. Janty
Noooo! You'd have to be right in the middle of the village with the rest of us. Your description of the lonely house sounds so sad. You can't be sad living in Omlet village.
