Getting butterflies now

Recommended Posts

We've moved in :dance::dance::dance:

The last few days have been complete mayhem, what with packing & moving and fitting in Christmas, but somehow we've done it (although there's still an awful lot of unpacking & sorting & cleaning to do), but we're in and comfortable and absolutely over the moon with our new home. Just got to get it all sorted before MIL arrives on Jan 3rd :wink: .

We had had plans to go and stay in a beach house that we'd rented on Christmas Eve but when push came to shove we simply couldn't find the time. Instead we ended up on our new neighbour's deck drinking wine and putting the world to rights, and revelling in the lovely balmy evening that we had...it felt just like being on holiday 8) . We're lucky...our neighbours are very friendly and we're going to get on well. They also work in Australia for 3 weeks, then come back home for 1 week, and so on, so when they're away we're totally secluded.

The only negative is that, because it's a new property and no one has lived there before, it's not connected up for telephone or television. So no internet access or TV viewing until we can get those installed :shock: . Which, unfortunately because of the Christmas and New Year holidays, is likely to be a couple of weeks at least. So, I'm not likely to be around much, if at all until the middle of January :cry::cry: .

I'll just take this opportunity as well to wish everyone a happy, healthy & stress-free 2009. I hope that the New Year brings you all that you could ever wish for........and I'll sign off now, and "see" you all in January :D:D:D

If that is the only negative......then that is not so bad. It'll soon pass.:D

It sounds positively idyllic. Have you started to think about what types of hens you will get yet?

Happy New Year to you and your family.
