The Dogmother
People never cease to amaze me too We had our eucalyptus tree trimmed a couple of years ago and got loads of logs from that. It is very dense wood, and only now is it dry enough to burn. I am looking forward to using it this winter

kannie
Good luck!!! You must let us know how it goes! I have loads of books that I'm selling on Amazon - have you ever sold books on ebay? Does it pay any better? For paperback novels you end up with a pittance on amazon.

I give paperback novels to Oxfam (they have a separate bookshop in Cambridge!) - the only books we sell on Amazon are textbooks that my OH gets as free sales samples from the publishers ebay isn't really suitable for selling books, I think, unless you set yourself up as an ebay shop - the auction model favours items in high demand or with a large market, not cheap, readily available things like paperback novels. Or courgettes
