Redwing Posted December 14, 2008 Author Share Posted December 14, 2008 She was going to fly but then started selling off her stuff as she could only take four bags on the plane, I didn't think it was fair for her to sell everything so said I would take her and she could fill up my car. I have a company car and fuel card and get full whack taxed on the private use of the car so might as well get something out of all that tax! However, if you are coming up the M1/A1, give me a wave when you get to the signs for Chirnside when you get to Berwick!! There are some lovely restaurants in Perth (I used to work just outside Perth), and plenty B&B's that would provide slightly more cheerful accomodation than a Travelodge!! She has been a good member of staff and I have offered to 'drop' her home after work on Friday. Just Googled it and its 416 miles away!!! I have driven to Scotland before so knew it would be a long way but it was still a shock! I sure hope the karma fairy is making notes..... I'm sure she is!
