Mel (& Paul)
Well its ok. Cos I like milk chocolate. Milk chocolate = milk = calcium = strong bones And I do like dark chocolate which is good for your heart And if you have an orange cream or two it counts towards your five a day. Wash it down with a glass of wine (more fruit) and you are laughing

fowlbird
apparently the efficient way to do things is to make lots of lists but what if your memory fails when you're writing the lists and how on earth does one remember where the lists are? crazygal
Many's a time I've diligently copied the shopping list off the lovely slate blackboard for such purposes in the kitchen onto the back of a cornflake packet and then forgotten to take said cornflake packet to supermarket, then have to phone hubbie at work- pretend to PA that said phone call is important and then ask him to remember what's been written on blackboard all week (and I'm in my 30s) Oh and on one occasion went through checkout to discover had no way of paying as purse was by computer at home!! Luckily my local supermarket know me Why do you think I have the user name I have??!
fowlbird
that's really funny, Mel/Paul! something struck me a short time ago - I can't even remember my own name let alone anyone else's and all sorts of information eludes me but when it comes to posting on forums I have very little difficulty in remembering the codes for the smilies... what's that all about? Chook n Boo Mum
I am in fits, and my DS is standing in the kitchen making a chocolate brownie mug cake (which I remembered to print off, but had forgotten I'd already done so until I found the original copy!!! ) and keeps wanting updates as to what I'm laughing at! I thought I was suffering on my own with my lack of memory, I'm so glad to be in such good company!! Slightly worrying at 37, but I'm sure I'll grow into it, I always have been "old before my time" with "an old head on young shoulders!" One day my shoulders will catch up...
