Tiggy
I got 2 chickens for my SIL a few weeks ago, they are about 18 weeks old, she has a very secure walled victorian garden & has an area sectioned off with Omlet netting, she went to collect YD from school & could only find one of her girls, fearing the worst she scoured the garden, guess where her cheeky girl was ON HER BED she had gptten under the netting & followed the cats through the cat flap up the stairs & onto the bed & snuggled up next to her cats, of course the downside, poo everywhere Edited December 15, 2008 by Guest
SnowWhite
Brilliant story! I hate to think what the poopy mess was like!
Ain't Nobody Here
How fantastic . What a shame she didn't have CCTV in the house - that would've been hilarious to watch . (I'm sure someone once had an egg laid on their bed .)
abwsco
OMG I'm sure one of our cheeky monkeys would do that given half the chance.
Gamebird
Aw Bless, how sweet. It's funny how animals know exactly where the best places are. (I know that's not grammatically correct but it's near my bedtime.)

Egluntyne
Phew. I thought this was going to have a tragic ending. How funny.
mostin
How sweet, I hope the little madam was told how worried you were about her until she was found . We have to use loads of tent pegs with our omlete netting as shirley, our black rock, is a specilaist at tunnelling underneath

..lay a little egg for me
How fantastic . What a shame she didn't have CCTV in the house - that would've been hilarious to watch . (I'm sure someone once had an egg laid on their bed .) Yes, it was a friend of a friend of mine. One of her chooks marched through the house, to the spare bedroom and laid an egg on the pillow while the lady's sister was in bed!
dancing cloud
Great tale and I bet your SIL couldn't have cared less about the poo because she was so relieved at finding her hennie safe and well Cheeky little madam! (and my little monsters are in the house too if I'm not fast enough closing the baby gate )
