Norad - Tracking Santa

 

Haven't done this since I was littlebut on Christmas eve you look onn and it shows you dropping Santa's presents at everyone's houses he goes all around the globe.

It's very sweet.

 

Thought I'd share with those who have small kids, I know my friends little sister looks on it and that what reminded me.

We've done this too, it was lovely and a good way to get the lads to bed - "Hurry up, he's nearly here and you have to be asleep before he arrives!"

We have done this for the last few years.........it's great fun for kids of all ages. Best use of all that high tech tracking stuff I've ever come across.

I still do this and I am 15! I have even had a 'santa tracking party'!

Wow. I always thought Santa was magic, but it turns out he's possibly not magic and instead may be very good at quantum physics. Go Santa! Santa is a geek! This makes me very happy!

ps: Santa is currently in Thailand. I wonder if he gets hot in all his fur and beard in those sorts of hot countries? Do you think they leave out milk or whisky, or maybe a nice cool, ice cubed cocktail?

Just a matter of hours before Santa gets to the UK, so remember "he knows when you are sleeping, he knows when your awake.........." What will you be leaving as a snack for the big guy?

A digestive biscuit (sort of a bland cookie, not an American biscuit) and a tot of whisky, plus a glass of milk and carrot for the reindeer has always been the norm in my house.

Mine have left out two chocolate chip cookies a glass of milk and three carrots for the reindeer, OH tried to persuade them that FC would prefer a tot of rum, but Mummy had the last say!

Still got presents to wrap, but only two of the children are asleep, one is "TOOOOOOOO EXCITED!!!!!""

A carrot for Rudolph and a glass of sherry and a mincepie for santa (or whatever Mum feels like on the night )

 

And I think both of mine are asleep! (might be harder getting rid of the 17 year old )

We leave a glass of milk, 2 mince pies and carrots for the reindeer. Santa certainly enjoys them.

Santa had two stollen slices and a bottle of organic beer plus a carrot left for the reindeer. Funny how Santa has the same taste in beer as the OH.

oh, I tracked santa last night

 

it was very exciting

 

at 5 minutes to 12, my pussycat Piper Kit rushed outside with a major panic on

 

then came back in 20 minutes later, all happy and "done"

 

but....

 

 

what had she done?????

 

 

she had been to help santa deliver in the local area hadnt she

 

good kitty cat (he wouldnt have managed without her - she told me)

 

 

and NO!!!! (I havent had a drink yet )
