Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

Glad to read it's been fixed My tumble dryer can be mended as well. It's having a new belt, 2 pulleys and a bearing. Hopefully it will be before New Year!

Glad you got it fixed the only other way of getting a cooker is to buy a caravan with a small cooker fitted

Would be a cheap way to get a holiday too

oh, and our shower broke today - I knew it would... OH rushed out to B&Q but they no longer do the same shower so he had to get a different one which means it will take longer and need a lot more plumbing...

Hi Everyone

Would you believe it after having a family get together on Christmas day Valerie my better half, put some things in the washing machine and did a wash only when every thing was out did we discover that we have a large water leak.

Think your gremlins have been sent down the phone and electric lines to our machine!!

So we are waiting for Currys breakdown service to open so we can contact them.

 

We are lucky that when we last updated to this machine we put the old one in the garage, so we can still wash but Valerie want the other machine sorting now.

Yes we did have Christmas dinner, it was a bit rushed as I had to leave to go to work at 1.30. Little Miss Webmuppet is still full of lurgy so Mother didn't stop too long ( she has a bit of a germ phobia )

 

I think the 'white goods' manufacturers put some kind of self destruct mechanism in the items set to go off in December!

Glad to hear it all worked out well for you, with exception of lurgy. It must be the season for it,since the 12th if December I've had a gas leak inside our cavity walls and then the cenr=tral heating boiler fried! So glad we had the woodburner

Took mum home today - frozen house, boiler busted. Amazing considering it was serviced in November. £85 emergency call out, he WD40'd the fan and an hour later busted yet again. Nothing can be done until 6th Jan. That has to be the biggest, fastest waste of money this year.

Mum is now home with me - bah humbug - now where are all the rellies going when they arrive for New Year's Eve?!!!
