BeckyBoo
I think it's rather fab too, love the script. I was supposed to be getting one for my 40th (already have two very little ones but one is so faded) I designed it all myself, it was going to cover up the faded one, but ran out of money, they're not cheap you know! I wouldn't get names although I was going to have my childrens initial by each of three stars.....oh well, when I win the lottery Mrs B

Chickvic
This is what I had done for my childrens names. That tattoo is quite impressive Paola, was it his first one?
Cooks
it is an impressive tattoo and very nicely done.. I might get the kids felt tips out and write across hubby's back looploo just to see how it'd look I think he might think I had lost the plot though Yes I have seen they use cling film, it helps the healing process apparently, I hope it's not too sore, was he ok having it done or was it worse than he thought? because that's lower back, and I heard it's not the best area in terms of pain. The ankle is supposed to really hurt!, my friend just had a one off designed star and swirl pattern on the top of her foot which is gorgeous but she said she cried
Chickvic
I have a seahorse on my foot and it did hurt the most - I didn't cry and would love some more (I have 7!) When I win the lottery too Mrs B.

abwsco
My youngest came home with a tattoo on her back the other week. Little beggar isn't even legally old enough! She didn't have the area numbed and said it just tickled I love the scroll work on the tattoo Paola
Paola
That tattoo is quite impressive Paola, was it his first one? No, he has one on his arm that he had done when he was 17, which he has gone over again as it was faded. Not keen on that one but I will not be telling him that Yes I have seen they use cling film, it helps the healing process apparently, I hope it's not too sore, was he ok having it done or was it worse than he thought? because that's lower back, and I heard it's not the best area in terms of pain. It is not so angry today, looks normal. He is wrapped in clingfilm and babies bum cream chilling on the bed He said that the air was blue in the tattoo shop when they went over his spine
Egluntyne
YS has a couple of tattoos. He was underage when he had the first one done too. *tuts* He applied cream and clingfilm to the second, more elaborate one. It scabbed over and healed quickly and actually looks quite nice. Joojoo
I've got a lovely one of a cat but it's on a very padded area so didn't hurt much! I was with a friend when she had one done across the bottom of her back and it was very painful. I hadn't heard of the clingfilm for healing - all I did was apply lots and lots of savlon and sleep on my tummy for a few days
MedusA
I think it is a very beautiful tattoo, Paola, and very romantic of your OH. I have three small tattoos: 2 cute lizards on my right shoulder, a flower on my right ankle and a scrolly ying-yang on my lower back (that one really hurt - but the first two hardly hurt at all). I think that's enough for me now.

I'd quite like a little discreet tattoo somewhere but OH doesn't like them. My ES is determined to get one, he is 17 at the moment so he's got to wait. That is a really impressive tattoo Paola

Cooks
@ air being blue in the tattoo shop! I bet it was! I was going to get a large fairy across my hip once... had the picture everything, I chickened out when he said it would be highly painful because of my boney hips maybe I should have waited until now, they are less boney nowadays
