We loved the fight with the vol au vents at Gail Platts house! But there was no Blanche memerable lines this Xmas.

We also enjoyed The Royle family. Jim is just like my dad with the After Eights! So funny.

 

So what else is worth watching?

Am getting a bit bored with the Steve McDonald/Becky story line.

 

Would a man really dump a beauty like Michelle for a minger like Becky (played fantastically by Catherine Kelly).

 

Can't wait for Tony to get his cummuppance.

I don't watch much telly, and never watch 'soaps' but I did watch Wallace and Grommit and The Royle Family and Gavin and Stacey on Christmas Eve. I do hope they decide to make a third series of G & S, they can't just leave the story line the way it is

I loved Corrie but agree the Steve/Becky storyline is so unlikely . Not sure what Tony's up to . Isn't he going to do something to Maria?

 

Finding Rosie Webster totally annoying - all that cleavage and pouting and what is going on with that disgusting lowlife Windass creature ? (No offence, I'm sure he's lovely in real life .)

 

Taped Royle Family, Gavin, Stacey and Dr Who so looking forward to those. Wallace and Grommit were great .

I haven't seen much of the soaps as have hubby home now, and mum and dad were down. I saw a bit of Emmerdale and the body in the lake.

 

We all watched Wallace and Gromit last night as I love them sooo much. I shed a tear when they put the muzzle and chain on Gromit

I am not in to soaps at all really. I do like a good xmas film.. but it's been slim picking this year if you ask me.

We watched The Royle Family and hubby asked if that was what Christmas was like 'up north' (Dad & I are from Liverpool and hubby is a southern softie).

 

Then when I pointed at Denise's carrot crush and oxo water and said that they should count their lucky stars that I didn't make a dinner like that, hubby said that he would have prefered that as his dinner. I then threatened to make him a Denise style meal for Boxing Day. Hubby then offered to cook the meal for today.
