chocchick
Does anyone else find bars from the roosting bars come off? When I take the bars in and out of the eglu to sweep the bottom out I've had problems with one or more bars coming off leaving the end of a metal staple that inserts into the bar. It happened with our first roosting bars and OH mended, possibly with glue, and now with our new ones. I think washing them may have done it, I use lots of water, scrubbing and spray bird cleaner. Egluntyne
Yep. Bought a second set a couple of weeks ago ansd one piece came unattached within a few days. I too scrub and s"Ooops, word censored!"e them and use a strong jet of water. I just think the staples are not robust enough.
The Dogmother
Mine haven't come apart....yet! I have two sets so that the dirty ones can dry after a scrubbbing.
Martin B
Two of the staples have come off mine.
The Dogmother
Perhaps there was a dodgy lot then..... Just fix them back on with screws Martin.

PurpleHen
Same happened to me - so I'm ordering some more as they are going cheap in the shop at the moment and I can collect on Saturday! I have had two bars all together come off and presumed it was my rough handling
Sheilaz
I just turn mine upside down and stamp on them.... Same here. Several of mine came apart early on, before I'd done anything, so we just Websiebodged them (unskilled DIY). It's not a big deal to put a few small nails in if they're loose.
