mostin
Thanks Claret Will book it. Will be nice to put some faces to names Love your avatar DA . I used to have a great big bagpus in my Renault 5. Come on HENthusiastic.. you know you want to....... I really don't think she does, for all our sakes . She will be a crumpled heap on the floor. I've been told stories by her OH about her trying to cook and deal with animals, it does not end well . (hope you don't me saying that Hen , I didn't actually tell the stories )
The Dogmother
Probably best not then, although my first aid certificate is up to date!
Redwing
"smart car"???? As in its a posh and tidy car?? Nope. Claret saw it when it was four days old and immaculate, now it looks like its been dragged through several hedges and gathered mud and straw on the way (even though strangely enough we don't have any straw on our property ) Its a BMW but i didnt think it would be so tiny, the back seat nearly touches the back of the front ones! My lovely Volvo is still in the company car park waiting to go for auction so if its still there when this course is due I will swap cars and use the Volvo as it has cruise control and is bigger! The Dogmother
I'm on the 11am course with Moochoo, OH and Redwing Plenty of time after for tea and a natter! Are we taking packed lunches? Tasha, I promise to go for a wee before we leave and not to sing in the car
laurmurf
I think most omleteers are on the 11am course, Claret - moral support! Egluntine suggested a lunch afterwards as there is somewhere nearby that she recommends - isn't that right, Egluntine?
The Dogmother
Brilliant!! Do they have cake?????
laurmurf
Maybe we could all go for lunch afterwards...or for a walk as the venue...Whirlow Hall Farm.... is in a beautiful location. PS...the farm shop is open on a Saturday...so bring some dosh. I think Alison was fitting everyone who didn't express a time preference but who did mention Omlet on the same 11am course. A walk to clear heads - if needed followed by a lunch (yes... and cake too, Claret) would be a really lovely way to share the experience with other omleteers. That is right...Whirlowbrook Hall has a cafe and is a few minutes in the car or a bit of a walk away.

poachedegg
Just come across this thread - would anybody know if there are any places on the 11am (so I can meet my fellow omleteers? ) and if there is anybody going through Warrington who wouldn't mind giving me a lift and sharing petrol? Also, what breeds are best as meat birds?
Janty
I've done it...I've sent an e-mail requesting a place for me and hubby on the course.

Janty
We missed out on the 11am course. We are booked onto the 12pm course. Would it be possible for us all to go out for something to eat together once the 12pm course has finished? It would be nice to have a chat.
