Warm boot recommendations please

Hi today was the first time I've ever seen an eglu in the flesh today. It looked and was great. This has just made me want an eglu more and more so I just really, really want to make the money for it even more.

I don't know what colour I'll choose though...

 

Also, quick question, does anyone know what the average price a second hand eglu goes for from Omlet HQ with no chickens?

 

Then it'll give me a good idea on how much I'll need to raise, I'm thinking in the region of £200.

I saw one on a stall at the Shepton Mallet Show. I think it was the 'Somerset youth volunteering network' stall. They had 2 battery hens living in it. It was groovy.

Blue...It was gorgeous. I wanted to steal it and take it home with the two battery hens in it. I think I'll either get a blue one/purple one/green one now.

I'd settle for any. However James offered me a green one, and I can't imagine an eglu in anyother colour unless I see it.

I got my mark 1 eglu for only £190, we new the sellers Mum so we got it cheaper that way. Ask around to see if anyone has an eglu, you never know they might want to sell it to you one day

I originally ordered a green eglu, then changed my mind and ordered blue eglu, then Jan told me about the purple eglu!!!! Finally went for blue eglu. Love it!!!!!!

I have some news...I've found out that this eglu is now for sale via the lady who was on the stand-she's also on the pekin bantams site!

 

She's going to get back to me next week as she's not at work this week. Wish me luck!

Thanks for the encouragement.

My eglu fund is up to £155.50 now. But I do have another 2 orders on the way. The suspense is killing me at the minute as I won't get to find out the price of it until next week.

I get to find out the price of it tomorrow! Can't wait, it'll have to wait another week on the money front as I should have enough then!

Found out how much it was today-£300. Going to try and haggle with them majorly. And I found out that it was actually being sold from Omlet, but is actually only in Somerset! GRRR!!! Far too much money as it's second hand too.

 

I'll have to raise over £100 now. NOT FAIR!
