The Dogmother
He's so handsome though Loopy I wish my neighbours weren't so close so that my girls could have a husband that chap'd be far too big for them though.
Janty
If I were ever able to retire to the country I would have a cochin cockerel and a brahma cockerel. They are gorgeous birds.

atsw
I took the picture of the handsome chap while we were on a family visit to Chatsworth House in Derbyshire. The 'girls' were also fine specimens, but this chap was in a league of his own. They have a whole host of animals and livestock they keep in the their farmyard area. The cockerel was out strutting his stuff on the main lawn! Certainly worth a visit if you've never been. Andrew

I took his pic as well Thought he looked familiar!
Tulip
My Buff Orp is 34 weeks and still has loads of room to get through the run door (apart from the Legbar, all our girls are 'heavys'.) Wait and see how it goes when she grows, I guess. You should see the state of our Orp today, she's just had a fabulous dust bath and is now dropping soil all over the patio with every step.....
