Chook n Boo Mum
At last I have up/downloaded some pics of all my girls! The first ones are my original chooks, or the "bomb-proofs" as DD calls them! Bluebell inspecting the lilac cube's run, which is leaning on the roll which is to become their new run, Snowdrop is on top and Buttercup is running down the middle - a perfect playpark!! Next are the Orpies: Cordelia & Drusilla the blue Orpingtons and Buffie & Willow the Blue Splash Orpingtons. I can't remember which one is which, but will work it out eventually! I had my first cuddle with a splash today & she dozed off on me See what I mean about the run being too small No wonder they are plucking their necks! These are my little ex-batts, the Batties, as yet un-named, but are probably going to be nuts! The first of the eggs this morning, we lost 2 and managed to keep 5, all the batties laid (large pale), 2 chooks (brown) & only 1 Orpie(very pale). And last but not least my girls, not a feather between them but my babies nonetheless! The baby Daisy and Jessie the eldest with DS and the baby again with the middlest one Poppy, yin/yang dogs!! I've taken loads more as you do, but these are a selection! Sha x

And what a big jump - have just broken the news to my neighbours that we are now a much larger chook family - hope they don't moan!!!! They knew about the batties but not the Orpies as they were a rescue situation. They weren't keen on me getting the 3 originals, but I then found out the hubby (who was most anti!) had been out in the veg patch digging them worms whilst we were away for a day.....aaaah! Will try & get some more pics later Sha x
