Cinnamon
Having thought that all our blackberries had gone,I have just found a new source & have sent the slaves (children) out to pick them all. So, I want to make Bramble jam as its the hubbys favourite, but I have never made any jam before, & have none of the equipment you need for it,let alone a good recipe. Can anyone tell me what pans I will need,& if anyone has made it before & can recommend a good recipe, that would be great
kazaddress
My blackberry jam was made with equal amounts of fruit and sugar. add a little water, then bring to a slow boil, then simmer for an hour so it thickens i just use a large stainless steel pan and a plastic spoon! make sure you "jar" and "seal" while the jam is stil very hot! Cinnamon
Thanks Kaz. I have just found a nice Nigella recipe that looks simple enough... Any chance someone with the powers could move this to all things nice for me....thanks
