Mel (& Paul)
They are lovely names - brilliant and quite unique!! Sometimes it is hard to think of original names isnt it (but never so hard that I would allow (& Paul) to use cricketer's names )

I do not think he would be very impressed We were looking at a plot of land recently to put a house on and OH promised I could buy THREE eglus if I wanted, thats if we got it Having spoken to our local planning dept, who said no to putting a house on it. We never got it

One Man Banned
Trust Mel Paola She's had to go through all sorts of logic and reasoning to get (& Paul) to agree another Eglu Mel you could sort of be our Egluobjectionist Specialist. I can see the ads now..... "Got a problem convincing your other half to get an Eglu? Call Mel for a tailored reason to bamboozle the opposition!" Mel (& Paul)
I have agreed with (& Paul) that we wont have any more chickens unless we can move to somewhere with more land. I havent agreed anything about bantums though

Glad they have been released at last Was that my old red Eglu I spotted on the TV I was excited by that - let alone if they'd actually been to see me

Karen & co.
It's Thursday now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! just wondering if I can justify taking the younger children out of school to come with me as they are really keen (might get my wrist slapped ) The poor girls will arrive to a rather wet garden shame as it was warm and sunny yesterday karen x

Karen & co.
Have they arrived yet? YES Drove up the M6 in the most torrential rain, couldn't believe the number of nutters driving like ....well nutters visibility was pants yet so many drove at top speed Adele from the BHWT had picked them up this morning from the farm, so they are a little shell shocked Anyway.... the girls are bedraggled and 2 have a limp they have the obligatory feathers missing, and don't quite know what to do with the grass under their feet, 2 went straight into the eglu and sat down Their combs are huge, floppy and very pale, and they are standing around looking very lost and suprised. The other girls are wandering around the garden and have been over to see what is going on, but don't seem too bothered I didn't take the children with me but Sarah's parting words as she went into school was 'Tell the girls I'll see them later' Mark moved the eglu while I was out and put it by the kitchen door so I can see them what a sweetie. Hopefully they will settle in and have a happy retirement karen x
