How cool is todays Google homepage?!!!

 

I am a massive fan of Dr Seuss and can remember reading quite a few of his books when i was a child. OH & I have also been to the Seuss theme park at Universal Studios in Florida.

 

One fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish!

I love green eggs and ham actually I love all of the Dr. Seuss books and really enjoyed reading them to my children.

 

We also went to the Universal Studios in Orlando and had a great time in the Dr Seuss bit. In fact Universal was our favorite park

There was a time when I knew the words to The Cat in the Hat off by heart. It was the only book OS wanted at bedtime for eons.

Am I the only one that detests Dr Seuss books?

I do a "google game" at open evenings where the kids have to guess what "holiday" the google logo is celebrating.

 

Hence I long ago downloaded all of them and get the new ones each year.

No, not sad at all. Thats a clever game and I bet it gets them thinking.

 

I think it is such a clever and simple way of celebrating holidays, birthdays and other important events, some of which I didn't even know about until I went onto Google, or some I'd forgotten about.
