Greenhouse building race ...

How is yours coming on Egluntine?

OH has laid the slabs for mine today, but we need to borrow my Dad's angle grinder to trim some of the slabs so that I can have an earth bed inside. We also need to fill in the spaces between the slabs (some are quite large  ) It's a good start though! 8)

Just hope the invoice is seperate  I told OH that it was £500 cheaper than it actually was

OH has made a concrete base for the frame & for a floor we are laying membrane covered with stone with flags running down the middle :)

Well mine is destined to never get built now. I have decided to return it and get a summer house for our allotment instead. That way we can use it a bit like a shed so we remove the garden tool clutter from OH workshop (he liked this idea a lot) plus when we are there with the boys they can play there (has a small veranda) and we can keep some toys there) have furniture and our BBQ there so we can sit and relax and spend the day pottering around and enjoying it.

We are making good progress! The slabs are laid and cut to size, the frame is built - there are some green things to put on the frame that hold the 'glass' in place and we are 4 pieces short so waiting for them to arrive from the manufacturer. Then it just needs bolting down and my raised bed putting in. :D Won't be long!!
