Cinnamon
Not really sure what we need on the high streets, as every town is the same these days... Greggs Claires Monsoon Accessorize BHS M&S River Island Evans New Look Dorothy Perkins Topshop / Topman Burtons Home Bargains Poundland Henley only has 2 of those, Monsoon & Accessorize, & they are in the same shop. We do have a Starbucks, which I love We also have the usual Boots, Smiths & far too many banks, as well as a good smattering of independant store. The BIG news is that the Toni & Guy we had has been bought by Raymond Blanc who is turning it into a cafe/bistro/deli/shop....can't wait
Sunshine
Not sure what our Woolies is going to be, my local town is supossed to be being re-developed soon, however local people arn't happy so its all a bit up in the air with different plans being submitted. I'm not sure how they are planning on re-developing the town when we have loads of empty shops as it is. Woolies was one of the biggest shops on the high street in my town too. It's not nice walking around and seeing more shops having closing down sales and then seeing the empty shops.

AJuff
Iceland on its way here too. Which is funny because we used to have an Iceland - that site is now an M&S food store. Iceland here (Malvern) too I believe. Don't know about Worcester. Iceland here in Hexham too even though we already have a freezer food shop in town. redhotchick
Ours has opened already as the discount store B & M's. There's hell on amongst the wealthy OAP's for it lowering the tone of the town : Same here In fact there are only 4 or 5 shops between B M's and Home Bargain Karen x B&M has opened up not far from Home Bargain at my local shops too! Shirl
Ours is empty still and we have an Iceland nearby. There aren't many other empty stores though. We have all the main brands n the High Street anyway so I can't think who will fill the space. It is far too big for an inde.
