When I cleaned out my pooh trays today there was quite a lot of water in one of them.

I'm pretty certain the chickens didn't do it as they've not done any pooh like that before.

I thought the eglu was meant to be weatherproof. I guess the wind must have blown the rain in through the ventilation gaps. Any ideas how to stop that ?

seems like these problems keep on rearing up time and time again,i had this prob and as i didnt bolt the roof on i pulled it as far as i could towards the back of the cube this seemed to make a big differance, not sure if you can do this with yours but if you can give it a go,hope this helps a little. :) goodluck

Unfortunately I don't live in such a lovely location as the Pennines  , but in good old Hampshire. My garden does face N'west ish but isn't that big. It's protected a bit by neighbours trees but i think the night it rained it was also very windy. Even my curtains were moving indoors, I think the rain must have just got blown into the cube. I'll have to see if it happens again next time it rains.
