fluffyknickers
My 2 year old has been really poorly, so today took her to the doctors still in her pyjamas (and wellies) as just thought it would be a case of 'need anti biotics and then go to local pharmacy and get them' - NO it wasnt. Needed a different type of anti b's to the usual ones and no one stocked them so on the FOURTH pharmacy and what felt like, millionth time of taking her out of the car seat and putting her back in with her screaming as unwell and fed up and lots of people commenting on the fact she in pyjamas (one old lady was disgusted!!!!). In the second chemist I was talking to the pharmacist for a while and then a lady said to me "think you better look at your daughter" my daughter came wandering over in her pyjamas and wellies COVERED all over her face in liquid eyeliner - she had been at the make up counter. I had no wipes with me. We ended up in a large Boots store with daughter running around in pyjamas and wellies caked in eyeliner, she then proceeded to have a tantrum in the middle of the shop just to ensure EVERYONE was looking at me. All this and I have had no sleep as she has been up all night last few nights. Joy! Michelle
susanbb
I know that feeling well. The joys of parenthood Bet you do a grand job and ignore those people who shouldn't be so opinionated when they don't even know you. Hope your little one feels better soon. Take care. Egluntyne
Poor thing.....you and her. The condemnation of strangers at a time like that is very irritating. Always very satisfying to let them know that their opinion is of no consequence. I hope she is feeling better, and that you can get some kip. dancing cloud
Well it made me laugh (sorry!) Hope you've had a decent night's sleep and little one is much better. Store it in the memory bank as a tale to embarrass her with much later in life
Blackrocksrock
Hope she is better to-day and you are rested - the images bring back memories when mine were small but well they are only young once and dont worry about what people say and think - you are doing a great job there. Doesnt everyone wear wellies with pyjamas!!! I do to feed the chooks!
