Alma
Hi, I would really like to buy a power washer for cleaning my eglu, as I can see that so many people recommend them, but where do I start? There seem to be so many different types on the market and a huge range of prices. I would like it to be able to really blast the patio too. Does anyone have any advice please? Egluntyne
I have a Karcher. Bog standard. £99 from B&Q on a wheely thing. It is fine for the job. I used to have a Bosch, which was so heavy that I never used it.
Guest
I would like to know the answer..i bought a cheapie that was brill but when that broke i bought another instead of going for Kercher?? (supposed to b good but i really dont know how good) the second cheapie i got is rubbish so really i should have gone for a better one. The only thing i didnt like on either is the hose that runs to the jet on both it always ended up twisted on itself(I think u can get spirally hoses??) Chickvic
We use a Karcher too and it's great. The chickens are on the patio and we just blast that too - cleans everything off.

Ain't Nobody Here
I started a thread on just this topic not long ago . I ended up getting a mid-range Karcher (it was just under £60 from B&Q). I'm really pleased with it and although I haven't used it a lot yet, it seems to work pretty well.
Olly
I got a small Karcher, it's light enough for me to carry around. I chose Karcher partly because so many people on here seem to have them, and also because I thought it would be easy to get accessories to fit it. Mine was about £40 on special offer at Homebase (sorry ANH! )

Ain't Nobody Here
The chickens are on the patio and we just blast that too - cleans everything off. Your poor chickens, do you give them time to get off the patio first ?

Clash City Rocker
I bought the "Lidl version" of Karchers last summer. Cost £60.00 with all the extra's, Brushes, High Pressure, etc - Really good piece of kit. I noticed that Lidl have been stocking it again over the last couple of weeks. Highly Recommended. Ain't Nobody Here
I used my £60ish Karcher yesterday to clean the eglu - it's fab (although I must watch where I'm pointing the sprayer - a small wall meant I got completely soaked with the splashback ).
