Egluntyne Posted April 14, 2009 Share Posted April 14, 2009 The cuttlefish that are sold in pets shops, Omlet etc have had the salt content washed out of them. Too much salt is as bad for cage birds as it is for hens. I wouldn't use the sort found on the beach, just in case as it might contain other contaminants apart from salt.
