The Dogmother
Where will these eggs be sold? I was wondering that too - bit of an omission from their site really. Have emailed them to ask as it's an obvious question and I hate mysteries.
redbug
Seen these eggs in Asda. Always look how the egg section is doing how many free range eggs are there in comparison to others.

Rona
I was in Tesco yesterday and there was only one box of Happy Eggs left on the shelf and that was because there were a couple of broken eggs in it.

sadietoo
ok...sorry to be a cynic.....quite a lot of fluff on the website....more info required......what happens to Happy egg chickens when they stop laying after a year or so???? How many Happy egg chickens to the barn....(ie how many didn't make it outside) ...what the heck is a fieldsman????
Alis girls
Went to sainsburys today but couldnt remember if they were for sale in here. Often buy Woodland free range eggs and have had a box of 6 with 3 double yolkers - got so excited kids thought I was nuts Todays came complete with feather - it could've been worse I spose. i dont think I will get chucks b4 holiday as money tight and forking out a small fortune in cattery fees so after that i live in hope. OH coming round to idea, ES is rude about hens and is always laughing about me being on the chicken site.

sadietoo
Ok ... No reply ..think I must have got the e-mail address wrong... But. from the web site I note that "Happy Egg" is a brand developed by "Ooops, word censored!"le Foods...one of the UK's biggest egg producing companies which claim on their website that about half the eggs they produce are Barn, Free Range or Organic . As usual for advertising purposes (when they don't want us to get to the nub of the matter) they wax lyrical about these, but there is less information about the other half of their production. They say that they produce a lot of pre-prepared egg stuff - mayo etc (presumably not using free range - no info about the supplier for these or the numbers involved _ the only non-free range eggs they seem to admit to on their web-site are " Big and Tasty". I suppose Happy Eggs is a move in the right direction...but I just hate it when producers are coy with the facts.. .we are all adults and if they just told us the bare truth instead of embellishing it with advertising we could make a properly informed choice at the check out. Sorry Rant over... I've resent my rejected e-mail and will let you know if I get a reply
