Is It In Their Genes To Be Naughty?

Recommended Posts

Does anyone else suffer like I do? :lol: Of all my chickens there are two who simply cannot behave themselves and they are both ginger. Pancake is a Bovans Goldline & Primrose is Red Ranger. Pancake is top chook but she's chummed up with Primrose and they get up to lots of naughty things together. They are always where they shouldn't be :roll: I swear they patrol the fences looking for weaknesses to exploit on a daily basis. Eliza has her moments but all of the others are absolute angels, they wouldn't dream of being naughty. So is it just a coincidence that both my trouble makers are ginger? :lol:

I know they're definitely trouble makers...

my only 2 are both very cheeky little madams, but I would say that Yolko is more naughty and she's lavender!

Chickpea can be mischevious though... and she has some ginger feathers :D

She's the one that screams to be let out and flies at you for meal worms :lol:

but yolko flies on the patio table... and my head!

she also poos on my lap so maybe that's why I think she's :twisted:

Our ginger hen (gold star) is super naughty - she's constantly trying to escape, won't be handled, eats all my herbs and veg..... the list is endless!!

Our bluebelle and amber star are mainly very well behaved (the amber star is white) - bluebelle pecks everything in sight, including us, but she doesn't mean it, she's just a bit daft, but amber star is a sweetheart - loves being picked up, does as she's told, and never pecks at us!!

I know a few ginger people who are fairly naughty too.......

:lol::lol::lol:
