Redwing
I have my oven dish ready for one of the table birds as we have crowing! There have been a few gargled attempts over the last week but this mornng full on crowing from inside the Eglu Whoever it was stopped as soon as they were let out but I think I know who it is, he is not fooling me and his days are numbered! Ain't Nobody Here
Can't help feeling a bit sorry for him . He obviously knows the crosshairs are trained on him . (Figuratively speaking, obviously!!)

moochoo
Maybe we should have that necking party after all? Neck a bottle, neck a chook! I'm sure we'll have one like that. One of our boys, even though he only 2.5 weeks old is massive compared to the others and is already really agressive, trying to attack me...it's quite sweet really how he protects the rest of the chickies. I'm sure he'll be the first to cock-a-doodle-do!
Martin B
Best of luck, all this meat raising sounds exciting!

mostin
He's obviously a clever one, only crowing when your backs turned . I'm sure you'll find the perpetrator in the end, and then...........dinner time .
Redwing
Noisy crowing this teatime The run is being moved down the garden tomorrow for the sake of the sanity of us and the poor long suffering neighbours! I went and apologised and the lady was lovely and said they didn't mind bless her The chickens will be going down the garden behind the greenhouse for now though The lady who owned our house before was single and very quiet and tidy and now the neighbours have to put up with us, the XBox, the dog and a garden like Steptoe's yard
