All you have to do is wait for your kids to grow up leave home, come back stay a bit and leave again. Then quickly you rush into their room and make yourself at home quick before they come back.

Wish my room looked like that or I had the space, its a complete mess but YS is moving to new home next week and says he's taking all his stuff so I'll have a sort out and will use that idea of storing quilts. At the moment mine are in an old MFI wardrobe that's falling to bits so has to go. Thanks for that I have good intentions.

It is quite easy, I'm not very talented so it must be.

 

The crazy nine patch one was quite easy and theres a good tutorial further up this thread that shows you how to do it.

I've finally finished the last of the 4 patchwork cushions. This one has been really difficult, as it had so many points that needed to match up. I had to take it apart loads of times and re sew blocks as it just wouldn't match up. But its finished and its okay, not great but it will do.

 

I've been searching for courses and have found a one day that promises to sort out problems with accuracy etc so I think I may get myself booked on it.

Wow, that is great! I don't think you need a course for accuracy, you seem to have it pretty much sussed! The blocks we are doing on my course are not as complicated as that last one

Lovely. I have to laugh at those sewing rooms - I bought a book that was about organising sewing areas - but they all have huge rooms to cope, although some info could be adapted. I have already told DS that I have plans for his room.
