4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

Just been having a nose around and found: this.

 

The pictures have all gone because it is so old, but does anyone have any new pictures of the Omlet offices, and that picture of the original eglu design

Of all those inventions in the article, the only one I've ever heard of is the eglu...or is my life so sheltered I've missed the other wonderful things

Well, not much has changed; the office is still 'untidy', just mpre partitioned off now into separate offices. They've taken over a couple more units in that block and have expanded the warehouse. The chooks aren't in pens any more; they have bio-secure units with classic FM playing for them.

I went to the Omlet offices last week, as Clare says they are untidy! crates of Eglu and cube bits outside (I could have done a pic n mix multicolour cube!) with stacks of runs and rolls of netting piled up

 

Its a bit disorganised and shabby looking but they are all friendly

 

I saw some things that looked like polytunnels - perhaps those are the bio secure runs for the chickens???

 

There is a cool cross section of an Eglu in the foyer

 

Its a nice spot though, lots of green around

I googled bio-secure runs and they're just walk in runs with a cover

 

I was expecting a giant eglu

As Redwing says, they look a bit like polytunnels, but have ventilation and extractors.
