Blackrocksrock Posted May 9, 2009 Share Posted May 9, 2009 I broke my kenwood bowl last weekend - just dont ask but it was kenlyte plastic and shattered into loads of shards and bits!. I put an ad on freecycle and the next morning someone answered - result I have just picked up my kenlyte plastic replacement along with a stainless steel one too - all for barter 6 lovely free range eggs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! bluekarin Posted May 12, 2009 Share Posted May 12, 2009 I don't know what it is about freecycle but it hurts my head. I haven't even logged in yet! I tried a while ago, and then forgot about it. So after reading this, I have tried logging in again, but had to re-apply So have trawlled my registration emails trying to find Yahoo login details. And had to type in the stupid letters and number combo several times as I kept getting it wrong. So its not really freecycle that hurts my head, more Yahoo But well done on getting the stainless steel bowl. I have one of these and a plastic one with my 70's orange Kenwood (£15 at a local charity shop with K beater and balloon whisk ) I bought a dough hook off ebay but the non stick coating is coming off so I need to get a new one.
