My M&S simply food has closed down.

I was in M&S MerryHell this morning and all customers were getting a free "goody bag" containing money off vouchers, cans of pop, crisps and sweets (Coconut Mushrooms eaten on the journey home) all celebrating 125 years of M&S.

I'll take your word for it as I didn't go into the store !!!!

There was a sales assistant standing outside the store offering goody bags so I took one.

 

Drove from Worcester to Merryhell (about 20 miles) went to the one store I needed to go to "Goldsmiths" and then drove back home again, was in the place less than 10 minutes.

 

Thats the way I like to shop !!!

I went at 9am this morning - straight in and out! Rump steak, chunky chips, profiterole stack and red wine, will be having it tomorrow night.....yummy!

My friend's office have a sort of competition to see who has saved the most money on this deal - they all list what they bought - they total price (out of the deal) and the saving

It is always interesting to see what people save. Sometimes it's only a couple of quid, but on that monthers day one people were saving up to £15!

Do you tell people at the cash desk Martin? Some cashiers do, but others don't.

The reciepts always say what the full price should be.

My best was £18 saving!

I only tell them if it is a very good saving or they ask if it has gone through properly, if they only save £2 it is doesn't seem as good as it makes out!
