Janty
One of the parents from the school where I teach has just knocked on my door (she is friends with a neighbour). She brought me a 'thank you' for helping her son. It was a topiary chicken from aldi. I couldn't find a link but I thought that it was a lovely gesture. Guest
I saw them today, and a few days ago, and a few days before that- I'm waiting for them to go down in price!
Janty
Ours have sold out. We went to get another one so that we could look reallly pathetic and have one either side of the front door and we bought the last one. The woman said that they had gone remarkably quickly. As the Aldi in question is next to our school, hubby reckons that we will end up with tons of them as pressies (the parents tend to send in anything chickeny that they see for me). I wonder why!!! clootie
How nice Jan. Mine would end up looking like a chickeny blob after a week or two, totally unrecognisable even after my attempts at trimming!

Alis girls
its jestures like this that make you realise probably the world aint quite so bad. Hope you manage to keep it looking like a chicken. It certainly wouldnt if I had it - probably an ostrich!! One of my patients brought me some tomato plants he'd grown and today hes bringing me some cucumbers, I have to say they are much healthier than those in the shops. And wait for it he's in his 80's and lovely - after my moan about OAP's yesterday - there are some lovely ones around - just not in our local Lidl
