A friend has been hatching under a broody and after the first three eggs hatched, she left the last egg and went off to look after the newbies. The last egg was obviously full of cheeping chick but getting cold and mum showed no inclination to sit on it again, so said friend tucked it inside her bra (lady of ample bosomage) kept it there for two further days and it hatched!

 

She is so very proud and swears that the chick thinks she's its mummy!

My friend (Also of 'ample bosomage' as you put it!) did this with a baby sparrow she had rescued last year. Went everywhere with her. She definitely got odd looks when feeding time came round as everyone would hear chirping then she'd get a live meal worm from a tub in her handbag and rummage down the top of her jumper. VERY odd looks on friday night round the pub I can tell you!
