:lol::lol:

I have metal bins for the food and a big green plastic dustbin for the Aubiose (trouble is it puffs up so you always have half left in the bag :roll: )

I got my metal bins from Ikea (as did a few others on the forum) they are about £11 and a little smaller than a proper dustbin but a bag of feed fits almost exactly :D

All of my stuff is in the side passage.

Guinea Pig + Quail food is in little plastic bins but the lapers pellets + mixed corn stays in the sacks and on a bench/chair. I used to put it in bins in the shed but used to go to get some in the morning and see a little mouse peering up :roll:

I found if its in the side passage in bins, because its a bit warmer and more humid the bottom would get hot and the pellets would stick together. It's fine in the bags so I do that and just scoop it up into the feeder :D

Hemcore bags are really strong so as long as you open it from the top end (or cut) if you fold it over it should stay pretty dry(or cover it with a small tarpaulin and bricks) but I keep mine in an open front barn and as I say the bags are stronger than the aubiose bags.

Even if it does get wet or damp it wil dry out pretty quickly as it was designed to be wetted before use with horses

good luck indie

Main supplies in garage in plastic dustbin and hemcore stood with it. I got an upright storage cabinet from B&Q where I keep brooms, rake, stalosan, mite powder, garlic, cod liver oil, click and lock with pellets, dustpan, brush, newspaper, cloths, gloves, clips, stool, grit, and the odd dead body. :lol: How much can you fit in a cupboard?

:D It's amazing how much kit you collect, isn't it!

Plastic dustbin with metal clips on the lid, it was about £6 from a 'pound shop' type of place, you know the ones that sell plastic chairs and storage boxes etc. That holds a sack of layers pellets just perfectly, then if I spill any while filling the grubs they fall back into the bin and I tip them out when the sack is finished.

I don't bother with anything for the aubiose, it's just in the plastic bag in the garage. I do worry that one day I'll put my hand in to get some out and find a mouse-nest, though!
