Laura007 Posted October 23, 2006 Share Posted October 23, 2006 i have been on freecycle before to get rid of mt old fridge and freezer, and i was thinking about a posting i saw on here about someone having loads of chestnuts that they couldnt get rid of. well this is the thing, i have sent a posting asking if anyone in my area has a tree loaded with cooking apples. cos i love cooking apples. i can make all sort of stuff and if they are free............................................ is this a bit cheeky do you think?? I have 4 large apple trees in my grarden and as beautiful as they are the apples are a pain esp when the bears go out and snack on them like they are never fed then end up with poorly tummies! The Dogmother Posted October 26, 2006 Share Posted October 26, 2006 I love Freecycle, and recommended it to a neighbour, who is moving to NZ and needs to get rid of most of her belongings - she's on it every day now. Our local version is pretty fast moving and if you blink, then you'll miss something - a dehumidifier went yesterday and I hadn't even seen an email for it!
