Redwing
Its too hot to work in the garden so I have made the executive decision that we will go to Wernlas and pick up the hen we have reserved (she is ready now but we were due to go next weekend) I am taking carrying cases for four just in case she wants to spread out a bit...... Redwing
Sorry, I was photobucketing! Wernlas is a really good place for a visit, I could have bought them all home Here they are (notice the 'they' Pippa the Appenzeller (already laying white eggs ) Jean the Wenlas Olive (only 9 weeks old but will lay olive coloured eggs) Anita the Gold Legbar (also 9 weeks and will lay white eggs) Pippa has her own section of the big run and the plan was to put the two smallies in with our own 9 week old chicks however there was quite a size difference so they have gone in with the Pekins short term until another house can be built for them. Lots of over the fence skwarking from the big pen but love and hugs in the Pekin pen with all four piling up together in the sun *phew* edited for typo Edited May 31, 2009 by Guest

Sorry for the hijack but what I'm dying to know is will my Olive look the same? Did they all look exactly alike?
Redwing
Yes, sort of a dark coloured legbar, like a cream one with lowlights not highlights They all had top knots but some more pronounced than others
