How Quickly Does Albendazole Work?

I am looking to get some bantams to add to my ladies?

 

What ones would people suggest.

 

I am looking at Pekins - Lavender, whites, blacks, spangled, etc.

 

Any other suggestions or where to get them from?

You need to be very careful adding bantams to an established flock of large hens

They are much smaller & can get bullied very easily........

 

Personally,I would never mix my 2 flocks.

It's easier if you find out what you can get hold of in your area, as that's usually the limiting factor, then go from there.

I have pekins and they are lovely, but inclined to go broody. I'd recommend wyandotte miniatures to a starter. Try reading up on t'internet; there's loads of info available..

Cheers for your advice, collected 4 Pekins last night (Black, White, Mottled and a Barbu d'Uccle), also orderded a Lavender and a Golden Partridge Pekin.

 

Oh and 2 Mandarin ducks.

Lovely however there is no such thing as Barbu d'Uccle pekin! I think you mean millefluer...

Yep very!

 

Even my lovely little cockerel can be picked up in the garden and carried around! The little chicks are very tame as well and only had them for about a week.

 

The call ducks on the other hand are not tame in the slightest we are trying but with no luck, any tips????

none whatsoever with the ducks, mine i have since they were a day old and despite handling them every day they are no way tame. ... they strangely think they are chickens and follow my 3 hylines around which are for sale, or my hylines think they are ducks.... not sure which lol
