My mum bought a book on Feng Shui when she was pregnent with me

she says she had no idea why she bought it, my dad says her hormones were affecting her wierdly :lol:

 

Also, as for saving it from a skip don't worry about it my dad once saved a filing cabinet which he now uses!!! in our study!!!

I had my first no show yesterday, she chose the evening, she chose the time, and then

Make sure you have a mirror on the back of the toilet door and there isn't a beam over the bed, oh, and tie three coins together with red cord and put them next to a plant in the corner of the room

 

Or maybe she couldn't find you because your front door faces the wrong way

 

I had a no show who said they couldn't find the road. Road is just off a main road and well known as there is a school in it. Also been here over 100 years, so not a new addition to the maps or anything

I like the concept of feng shui and do try to follow the basic principles of some of it

 

Most of the times you just know when something feels right though!

I think I read once that if your feet face the door in the bedroom, then your luck flows out your feet and out the door. Apparently a few corners slow it down

Aren't you also supposed to have fish tanks and windchimes? I think luck likes those things so it hangs around longer

 

Can't you tell I think it's a load of codswallop but if you like it fair dos. As Jackiepoppies says, it's about how things feel, but to suggest the way you place your furniture can influence how wealthy you will be is, well ... (sorry!)

 

PS I do have windchimes, but only because I like the sound and they annoy my OH

And we used to have several fishtanks, but we are much better off now - no longer spending a fortune on expensive fish only to have to flush them two weeks later

She may have had something come up unexpectedly. I was a no show for riding helment and Jodhpurs last week. All arranged then when a friend rang to say she'd just sent younger son walking home she mentioned a meeting at the school I'd forgotten about was on so I ended up dashing out the door to the meeting forgetting about freecycle (whole evening had been a rush from when OH turned up 1/4 after he was supposed to pick up ES & 2 others from school with no boys he was due to talk to new cub and mum abnout induction so I had to dash to school so late doing tea in time fro ES to get to evenign activity.

 

Even worse I was so embarassed next day so I kept putting off emailing to apologise Fortunately when I did lady was very nice and let me rearrange.

 

Riding helmet and jodhpurs turned out to be very good quality and in 'as new' condition I was expecting the sort of helmet stables have as spares that have def seen better days.

I dont mind if she forgot we are all human, just dont lie about it, she said the shops were closed, WRONG, and she said she drove up my road and then in the next email said she couldn't find my road.... that's what I dont like.
