Just been to Bravissimo

Recommended Posts

now I have NO idea what size I am anymore since running I seem to be losing it in the errm wrong places!

I went to La Sensa and they were rude! so I gave up. Debenham measure me for a HUGE bra and said it fitted, now unless I wanted to carry my shopping home in it as well it didn't fit!

:notalk:

I'm now on the mailing list, and I should receive a catalogue on a regular basis as they keep on adding to their range.

I've heard that sometimes they have items on line or in the catalogue but not available in the shop, so the assistant can place an order, which is paid for in the shop and have the items delivered to your home. As Bravissimo have placed the order there isn't any postage to pay 8)

Handy if, like our local Nottingham store, your Bravissimo don't stock many end of sale items, as the assistant can check their database and order the item for you :)

I spent last night looking at bra sizing internet sites as the last time I was measured (many moons ago) I was a 34C but the bras have been a bit uncomfortable.

On one site it made me a 36AA  - theres no way I'd get my boobs in a AA. On several other sites it made me a 32DD.

I've ordered a bra from Bravissimo so that I can try it at home and give it a good try.

My daughter has some lovely bras from Bravissimo.

I was recommended to the online Bravissimo several years ago, when I was ranting at a curvy friend about the M&S measuring service. They kept measuring me at a 32B and bringing me endless bras in 32B, even though it was abundantly clear that I bulged out all over a B cup  ! A couple of Bravissimo bras in 32DD and I was much happier, and much more contained :D

For those like me that cannot get to their shops, there is measuring guide on their website and apparently they can "fit" you by phone too (no, I don't know either!). The company is specially for big-boobed girls though, so not much use to those of you that can look down and see your toes

Bravissimo is absolutely my most favourite shop for undies. I now wear a 32 GG after M&S persuaded me I really was a 36 D.I looked like I had two lots of boobs and they were droopy, after wearing a proper bra I looked like I had lost weight and my boobs were right where they were supposed to be! :D

Sarah, I'm really pleased that it all worked out well!

It's wonderful to find that one isn't condemned to a life on white "Doreen" bras!

I found that after my experience there it was really easy to tell when a woman was wearing the wrong size (usually too big in the back and too small in the cup), and I always had to bite my tongue to stop myself telling them. Especially when I could see the bra line curving up their back instead of straight across the shoulder.

I was measured as a 40DD in M&S,when I was a 36FF. I've lost a lot of weight since then, and found that as the back goes down the cup goes up. At one point I was a 32H, but I've put some weight on again and I'm now a 34GG.

I try and go back to be re-measured every year or so.
