Chickvic
I don't think so - I had to fetch my sick note today (staggered across with DH) they have a hand wash outside that the patients are supposed to use going in and out of the surgery. When I spoke to the receptionist to query about my symptoms she cancelled my appointment and asked if I'd been asked about flu symptoms when I had phoned for appointment. I said no and she wasn't happy, but when I went to the Dr's last week I wasn't asked about flu symptoms at all. Can't make their minds up
Valkyrie
Oh well. How's the vertigo now? It's quite a horrible feeling, isn't it something to do with the ears (unless of course you are frightened of heights as a rule, or an Alfred Hitchcock film )? Mum had a bout of that a couple of years ago - it took a couple of months to sort out an ear infection. Or you are just unbalanced - but then that could describe most of us on here! On a lighter note, um, there are lots of strawberries around now. Gosh, why do I always think of food? And Christmas is coming, not long to go now. Jingle bells, jingle bells - feeling cooler now? Scramble
Speaking of Christmas There's a boy in school who I'm friends with and on the last day of school last year he was off ill so I couldn't give him his Christmas card...so I left it in my bag. Anyway, he was messing around in maths today and in the front pocket of my bag, where I keep old letters, that kind of thing... He found the card! He said 'what's this?' And I burst out laughing and told him it was a Christmas Card He then opened it and stood it up on the desk, maths teacher then asked why he had a Christmas card to which he replyed 'Jessica seems to have forgotten to give me it, so I'm making the most of it now as I might not get another one this year.' my friends thought it was hilarious... Then again, what should I expect from a boy who I went to primary school with and decided that I should become his German secretary and name me Lynn? Valkyrie
OOOOH - he likes you! That's how my OH used to be - wound me up something cronic. He was the newbie in the bank, and when I went to visit my grandparents, my nan asked this horrible question that makes young girls squirm. "Any nice boys there?" So I went into this tirade of how irritating this lad was and she said "ooh, you should marry him, then." Well I thought we'll see about that intending to be the last thing on earth I would do. So I ended up marrying him! And he's still a wind-up merchant! Well as it has clouded up and I hope a little cooler, I shall attempt to clean out the girls before the storms (hope we don't get them). This site is really slow again today - probably the computer. DD is playing virtual zoo and is waiting for her hippo to give birth, so wants me out of here anyway. TTFN.
