Vegas at Christmas will be fantastic. DH and i went 5 years ago for a few days. We drove from San Diego across the dessert, it was amazing. What hotel have you booked? Mind you they are all fantastic! You have to go and see a show, we went to one where you got a meal and show and DH got dragged up on stage

We got married in Vegas 5 years ago, and loved the place (hence why we are going back).

 

We are staying in the Venetian - which we know is lovely. Barry Manilow is there when we are there, so I wouldn't mind seeing him, but OH isn't sure

 

We are then flying to San Francisco for New Year.

Wow That sounds fantastic. We did Florida this year and it was awesome. Id like to do Vegas but not with the kids. I think they might spoil my fun
