I've (Edit) NOT won a Yellow Eglu!

Recommended Posts

I'm afraid my happiness was short lived. I've not won the yellow eglu. The man who listed it as "Buy it now" (and let me buy it) decided he will get much more money for it if he lists it again and lets it run to auction - hence he's told me I'm no allowed it and will have to auction with everyone else.

So...

1) No bunnies or bantams for me a the moment (the bantams were winning in the occupancy competition!)

and

2) I'd be very grateful if you could keep your eyes peeled. I know the eglu to cube swaps are like gold dust at the moment, but if you're in the South East and would like to help out someone who's very disappointed, then give me a pm.

Thanks for all the advice and helpful comments

(Could someone in the know shift this into the right category please?)

Yay! I've just won ~this~! :D Think I have got a bargain.

I already have a (green eglu) with (white chicken)GNR(Bluebelle) .

Now, here's the quandry. Should I buy a conversion kit and fill the yellow eglu with lovely furry (black white rabbit)(brown white rabbit) ? Or, should I fill the yellow eglu with bantams galore?

Your thoughts or other suggestions...perhaps not pygmy goats or the like!

If you can't get a good look at the main door, look carefully at the egg-port hatch.

Mark I

Mark II

The Mark II is more 'pointy' towards the lower-left corner.

Both are excellent of course, so no worries there.

I have a current appeal with ebay regarding a similar matter...

Report it and save any emails/messages he sends...

Had you sent any funds?

I had paid immediatly for my item and had missed other impending listings as I thought all was ok!!

so I had to cancel through paypal straight away!!...

the problem is that my seller and I think yours dont have much feedback,

so not likely to be bothered by account being closed etc...

I think I recall you have to report it through their query email section, as its too early to go through transaction method...

This is totally unacceptable!!....

Hope ebay k**ks his butt...

Yes, get in touch with ebay. If he re-lists it file a complaint to get it removed until you get what you've won. What a cheek. He should've thought of that when he added the BIN!

I hope you've kept his e-mail saying why he wants to re-list it. It's good amunition.

You most certainly have won it. The bidding system works both ways, at the point you placed your bid you entered a contract to buy it, at the same time, he entered a contract to sell it. As others have said, don't let this get away, file a report with e-bay straight away.

What a horrible thing to do. You must contact Ebay and I hope he doesn't get half as much as you would have paid, rude person he is!

He is VERY naughty and now I'm going to ask him the question WHY he didn't sell it the first place? wonder what his story will be....

Probably find it isn't all that great either as most people take proper photos when selling something that expensive not far away shots that give little away.....

Almost merits a large bid and then to withdraw from buying at the end and when he asks for his seller fees back just say sorry I pressed the wrong button and make him PAY.... infact this could happen more than once , If only I wasn't such an angel

tee hee

I won an eglu on Sunday on a buy it now for £275... miraculously they too had managed to sell in just a few minutes prior to me buying it.... it really grates but hopefully it's a blessing in disguise.... some ruthless members can make ebay really really stink at times!
