smanners
Can anyone tell me when my white leghorn chick will change from a lovely buff/lemon colour to white She is 5 weeks old at the moment. All my other chicks appear to have grown their adult colour feathers (exchequer is now black/white for example) but she has stayed yellow Edited June 19, 2009 by Guest

The Dogmother
What a lovely colour - really buff rather than orange. Expect it to deepen as her adult feathers come through - I have seen a buff leghorn and it was golden rather then a dull buff.
