Homoeopathy Course

Recommended Posts

I started an intro to Homoeopathy course last night (note to self - must also learn how to spell Homo.... without having to check every time) - it was brill! Each session will last 2 hours and there are 8 of them. It is run by 2 local practising Homoeopaths who are also college lecturers, but very infromal. 8 students, and two of us are pregnant and due in Feb!

So thank you to all of you on here - as without the various mentions of Homoeopathy for all sorts of reasons, I probably wouldn't have got interested to start with - and I'm fascinated now :D Just wish my DH would stop

er.... you made me pick up the dictionary and ....... you have an extra 'o' in it :? (but the Oxford does say you can spell it either way )

Apart from that  - the course sounds good and how helpful to find someone who is due at the same time.

This forum certainly leads us in all sorts of directions doesn't it? :D

This is where I get confused - how many o's

I copied this spelling from the course literature, so I'll try and stick with that I think.... Although Ainsworths spell it the other way.... :? Who knows? :D

Probably GRD....

Obviously the time of year for study, I've gone back to college, Saturday morning!! to do Massage. Doing the basic Anantomy, Physiology and Swedish Bodywork at the moment but looking into all sorts once this is done. Hot stones, sports and remedial massage, neuromuscular technique and possibly aromatherapy.

OOOooo get me, one step at a time girl

Good for you Purplehen, hope you really enjoy it. :D

Snap Trish! I'm doing a 30 week course in holistic massage, which includes anatomy & physiology, I did the A&P earlier in the year but failed  so hopefully I will get it this time! Its my age  I'm a trained nursery nurse, so a total change for me, but is'nt it great that we have chance to do these things :D

ps, just looked my course is 36 sessions :o yes the A&P is alot to learn, I have a really good book by Louise Tucker, do you use that one? plus a couple of others they recomend. I would'nt mind a cd rom, I prefer visual learning!(not too real though!) just had a quick look at the site, thanks anything to help.

Our is a 24 week course, the A&P is the VTCT level three so not very in depth but deep enough for my brain. The book the college recommended is "A & P therapy basics" by Helen McGuinness. It's okay but I think the labelling is a bit out at times, or at best a bit confusing
